All across this planet, the family is the core unit of society, and it abides by a simpleset of rules. Every family on earth seeks to maximise its advantages. Every family wants its members to be as successful as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

If a situation arises where a family can either help its own members or those of other families, it will invariably help its own. That is the unwritten law of our society. Everyone understands it. Everyone is sympathetic towards it. If someone says, “I’d do anything for my family,” no one ever condemns them, even though “anything” might involve screwing over other families. Of course, if you are wiling to do anything for your family then so is everyone else willing to do anything for theirs, including trampling you into the ground to secure an advantage for them and theirs. If you’re not at the top, amongst the elite, then you can be sure you will get shafted one way or another. Someone will always be bigger, stronger, wealthier, better connected than you, and thus be better able to help their family than you can help yours. So why do you sign up for this game you can never win? You’ve lost the moment you adopt this ideology. In fact, you lost the moment you were born and found yourself part of this inequitable system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
