“De ce gnosticii credeau că Yahweh era un dumnezeu fals și rău?
Spre deosebire de poporul medieval supus teocrației Bisericii Catolice și care nu au reușit să citească singuri Biblia, intelectualii gnostici din primele secole ale erei creștine au avut acces la toate scripturile biblice și au fost capabili să le studieze liber. Ei știau că Biblia ebraică este plină de acte crude, genocide nemiloase, cereri de jertfe îngrozitoare, fapte barbare și comportamente tiranice atribuite lui Yahveh. Cu alte cuvinte, gnosticii știau că zeul biblic era un adevărat diavol și că religia lui era brutală, sângeroasă, misantropică și obscură. Adevărul este că Biblia în sine este mărturia amplă că presupusul tată iubitor al evreilor și creștinilor are o natură sadică și rea și numeroasele sale fapte documentate în așa-numitele Sacre Scripturi sunt atât de abominabile încât majoritatea oamenilor de astăzi ar putea pricepe că erau tipice unei entităţi demonice. După citirea obiectivă a Bibliei, este evident că zeul evreu Yahweh este un personaj războinic, ucigaș și depravat și este clar că are un mare resentiment pentru omenire. Textele biblice însele pun la îndoială moralitatea și bunăvoința zeității iudeo-creștine și nu fac altceva decât să confirme că Yahweh este adevăratul adversar al omenirii “.

Susținătorii iudaismului cred că Domnul este drept, iar adepții creștinismului pretind că zeul lor este o ființă perfectă și infinit de binevoitoare și tatăl iubitor al omului. Pe pereții bisericilor creștine, este obișnuit să găsim semne de propagandă care spun “Dumnezeu este dragoste” sau “Domnul este milostiv”. Creștinii citează de obicei versete biblice, cum ar fi Ioan 3:16, care pretinde că Domnul iubește lumea atât de mult încât a jertfit pe singurul său fiu pentru mântuirea sa, sau ca în Ioan 4: 7-12, al cărui mesaj este că DOMNUL este sursa iubirii. Cu toate acestea, este evident că ei nu cunosc Biblia în totalitate, nu o citesc într-o manieră sinceră și obiectivă și cred doar orbește în afirmațiile înșelătoare ale preoților și pastorilor lor, bazate pe versuri selective. Biblia citită în totalitatea ei nu învață că DOMNUL este iubire! Aceasta este doar o minciună pioasă a teologiei creștine ortodoxe. Biblia expune în mod clar că Yahweh este un zeu mânios și intolerant (Psalmul 78), războinic și militarist (Exod 13: 3, Psalmul 2: 1-12, Deuteronom 7: 23-24), ucigaș (2 Împărați 2: 23-24 ), genocid (Exodul 32: 27-28; Deuteronom 20: 11-17), nemilos și crud (1 Samuel 15: 2-3), înșelător (Ezechiel 20: 25-26), infanticid (Psalms 135: 8; : 9; Exodul 12:29) și îmbătat de pofta sa pentru sacrificiu groaznic (Levitic 1: 5-9). “

“Why did the Gnostics believe that Yahweh was a false and malevolent god? Unlike the medieval people who were subjected to the theocracy of the Catholic Church and were unable to read the Bible by themselves, the Gnostic intellectuals of the first centuries of the Christian Era did have access to all the biblical scriptures and were able to study them freely. They knew that the Hebrew Bible is chock-full of cruel acts of evil, ruthless genocides, demands of gruesome sacrifices, barbaric deeds and behaviors of tyranny attributed to Yahweh. In other words, the Gnostics knew that the biblical god was a real devil and his religions were brutal, bloodthirsty, misanthropic and obscurantist. The truth is that the Bible itself bears ample testimony that the supposed loving father of the Jews and Christians has a sadistic and evil nature and his numerous deeds documented in the so-called Sacred Scriptures are so abhorrent that most people today would believe that they were typical of a demonic entity. Upon reading the Bible objectively, it is evident that the Hebrew god Yahweh is a warlike, murderous and depraved character and it is clear that he has a great resentment for mankind. The biblical texts themselves put in doubt the morality and benevolence of the Judeo-Christian deity and do nothing more than confirm that Yahweh is the true adversary of humanity.”

The upholders of Judaism believe that Yahweh is righteous and the followers of Christianity typically claim that their god is a perfect and infinitely benevolent being and the loving father of man. On the walls of Christian churches, it is commonplace to find propaganda signs that say ‘God is love’ or ‘the Lord is merciful’. Christians typically quote biblical verses such as John 3:16 which claims that Yahweh loves the world so much that he sacrificed his only begotten son for its salvation and 1 John 4:7-12 whose message is that Yahweh is the source of love. However, it is evident that they don’t know the Bible in its totality, don’t read it in an honest and objective manner and only blindly believe in the deceptive claims of their priests and pastors based on selective verses. The Bible read in its totality doesn’t teach that Yahweh is love! That is just a pious lie of orthodox Christian theology. The Bible exposes clearly that Yahweh is a wrathful and intolerant god (Psalm 78), warlike and militaristic (Exodus 13:3; Psalm 2:1-12; Deuteronomy 7:23-24), murderous (2 Kings 2:23-24), genocidal (Exodus 32:27-28; Deuteronomy 20:11-17), unmerciful and cruel (1 Samuel 15:2-3), treacherous(Ezekiel 20:25-26), infanticidal (Psalms 135:8; 137:9; Exodus 12:29) and drunken with his lust for gruesome sacrifice (Leviticus 1:5-9).”
